PayPal as payment standard. I've been using it for several months now, but it had to end. I had the program installed on several of my work machines and all of my computers at home. With all of the computers connected to my account, I have pulled in on average of $10 a month. Not bad for something just running in the background. I got an email from one of our network security guys at work. The machines I installed it on came up on the radar as it runs off a really outdated version of Java.
Java 1.6 to be exact. It's hardcoded into the app, and doesn't install under 'Programs and Features'. The only way to remove it is by removing the program. I was forced to uninstall it on all of my work machines, due to the security risk.
It wasn't a big money maker, but it was something. Due to that, I've decided to give up on it. So I've created a second Swagbucks account (captcha's are back!).
Hopefully I can keep it going.
